MY FAMILY

A brief about my family: My maternal family belongs Kuthubi Family near Mahe and paternal family is in Ayinikkad, Payyoli, Kozhikkode Dst. We, wife and 3 male children residing at Raf-ha, Ayinikkad (1.5 km north from Payyoli town on N H side). Wife belongs my paternal family,D/o Late Moideen Haji,Farhath Manzil(businessman S.pore). Our elder son, Rawaha , B tech, working in Riyadh as engineer, and second son Rasal, MBA and 3rd one, Rasween an engineer student.
I am working as a teacher in Mahe and my wife is a good housewife.Ours is a high middle class family with Islamic belief with broad mind, no orthodox  as well as not interested any sectarian or extremist  organizations  in Muslim community .
My mother’s origin is in Mahe belongs  Kuthubi Family.(Kuthubi was a well known Islamic scholar in Kerala) Father’s & my wife family is in Payyoli belongs to Ayinikkad Ebrahim Musliyar.
We are seeking a suitable girl for our elder son,Rawaha. He won B tech at Anjumen Engineering College, Bhatkal and woked ‘Jindal Plant’ (Maharashtra) for one year. Then he got  engineer job at Muhammed Al Rashid Co., Riyadh. He is working there for 1.5 years. (He has plan to  Shift toKuwait after 1 or 2 years.)
Our second son Rassal(25) is a MBA holder now working in a Bank. (We may accept suitable alliance for him also later). 3rd one Rasween is preparing for B tech .
As we have 3 sons and no female children, we are in search of a girl as if our own to give our fondness & affection. She will be smart, healthy, obedient, affectionate to husband and his relatives and should be capable to involve for a good and pleasant homely atmosphere
We seek an  educated girl   and if she is willing, she has freedom to do job as per  the qualification, and mostly, as per their mutual understanding(we believe job for girl should be for comfortable family life not for strain full family life). Desirable age of the girl: between 20 and 24,  Hight: 155- 171,
Girl’s family’s criteria: Should be cultured and respecting values and should be “Deeni”, but  should not be orthodox, at the same time not desirable to argue for a particular religious organizations  and find truth only in it. (Truths have been scattered in all sects and faults also with them. So be frank to everybody and keep our personality with our own knowledge)
View:  Though traditionally we are Sunni based family, presently we are a moderate family  giving  high value to culture and goodness irrespective of   religious sections (like EK/AP Samastha ,2 Mujahids, Jamath etc).We are against  ‘rigid’ concept and organizational extremism  in Muslim community. (All Muslims are brethren so all be loved equally, & Allah will judge who is in correct path) Life is not for quarrels but for affectionate transactions. We usually go to all Masjids which is easy available irrespective of sections. (Sunni,Mujahid,Jama ath etc.)The would-be girl also be like this.
Plan: It is expected my eider son come from Riyadh on mid of  May for 3 weeks and to make engagement with suitable party as soon as possible(I. A).Marriage function will be done after next arrival (almost after 6 or 8 months).Engagement or fixation will be done within 10 days  after his arrival.

ADAMINTE MAKAN ABU:

Pain Of an Unfulfilled  Dream
In the ecstasy when getting Haj Passport

‘Small is beautiful”  E.F.Schumacher said it in economic perspective.
But Small dreams about small things  are often, I feel, a great and beautiful thing.
Just after watched the movie “Adaminte Makan” I thought so.
I could realized a sense of passion of an ingenuous, poor, country fellow man about his utmost aim in his life, that to perform a halal Haj without any obligation to others.
Sometimes, it is not so relevant to us, considering our modern life of facilities and amenities. We may think whether it is so difficult to perform a Haj in this time of globalization.
This film brings us into the emotions and ambition of a deprived and pious person who does not curse his poverty. He is an embodiment of nobility. To full fill his ambition he started to accumulate money from his livelihood. He knows only to sell scent (attarwala)  He couldn’t get any help from his grown up son who is in Gulf country  and ashamed of his father.
It is really touching; the director Salim Ahammed shows us so many obstacles happened in the path of Abu’s ambition.  You will burst out  in a single shot, that his wife compelled him to sell their cow &calf to mobilize ticket amount even she is very fond of them.  He also dared with hidden pain to cut off a jack fruit tree from his 5 cent house plot.  Finally he showed his maturity and console his wife when he know he could not full fill his ambition, but really,  as viewer  our heart will pain  on him long time.
The beauty of undeveloped northern village of Kerala (I think it is interior of Mattanur)
is splendid through out the movie.
Salim Kumar, who plays Abu, an honest 75 year old scent merchant who lives with his wife Ayisumma (Zareena Wahab) amazes you with his incredible acting Realy he lived as Abu absorbing all feelings.. It’s indeed heartening that the national and state awards juries chose him for the best actor award for his splendid performance.

The director, pours his heart and soul into the film and the honesty with which he has approached the film is there to be seen in every frame. The film glorify essence of Islam and Haj through innocent beliver. That is the greatness of this film. I suggest all Muslims will encourage this film showing all Madrassa Muallims and students in Kerala.

Every actor in the film has done their role excellently. From Zareena Wahab, Nedumudi Venu, Mukesh, Kalabhavan Mani, Suraj Venjarammoodu, to those who have appeared in a scene or two, leaves lasting impressions in the viewer’s mind.

It’s perhaps an once-in-a-lifetime role for Salim Kumar and he gives subtle acting an altogether different meaning. He is just outstanding and his performance has been easily the best by any actor in Malayalam.
There are a few situations intended to give a ‘classy feel’ like the character of Ustaad and his disciple, Hyder and also some characters which may have been used for an effect, like a Christian wood trader and a Hindu teacher who shows amazing compassion and support for the old man during some crisis moments. But then, all that acts in a positive way for this noble film.
Adaminte Makan Abu has done proud for Malayalam and will find its place among the most powerful films ever made in Malayalam. As a viewer, the easiest way to appreciate this gem is to watch it at the theatre,. Don’t miss this one, it’s a must watch.

Waiting response,
wahab, Payyoli

PARROT IN THUNJAN PARAMBU WISHES MALAYALAM BLOG WRITERS

Mr Ramanunni Publishing a Blog Book

Get-together of  Kerala’s Bloggers  at Thunjan Parambu

I have got a chance to attend  a unique meeting of  Malayalam bloggers’ . It was wonderful experience when  bloggers from various places in Kerala ,from Kasargd to Parassal and mostly from NRKs,  have  sit together  in Thunjan Parambu , the historical place where  lived and worked Thunjeth Ezhuthachan , father of Mlayalam literature.
Malayalam Blog writings are flourishing in internet and it may be a turning point of transformation for Malayalam literature from conventional book publishing style to e literature. There are so many talented Malayalam writers and artists chose their media internet by Malayalam Blog writing.

Most of the participants said about their freedom of writing in Blog, they need not bother about  seeking publishers and distributors. There also revealed some of  the story of social generosity venture through some blogs.
Among 160 participants, there were much talked Malyalam blog  writers like Kumaran  writer of familiar blog:‘Kumara Sambhavangal”,Manoj Ravindran Blog NIRAKSHARAN),Lathika subash whos dared to contest against Achdanandan is also a prominent blogger ,VK Abdu(Korkarus), Director of Info Madhyamam,Ayishabi (Chattikkari)  etc etc.

The meeting  got a chance to familiarize each other  who are behind the blogs  and who are sarcastically criticizing behind the curtain of internet.  This get together was joyful  and useful. Blog owner of “ചട്ടിക്കരി " , Ayishabi from Calicut   who never expected more then 50 members, brought with her 50 unakkayi and sammoosa  declared a competition  among members to supply these bites logically.
Whole members have actively participated  through out 10 to 5 p.m.a resourceful lunch in plantain leaf is remarkable.
Camp has ended with realization that  pen and paper will not have place for  tomorrow’s Malayalm literature , rather it will grow beyond the world through blogs and webs with utmost freedom of writers.
I noticed symbolic parrot in Thunjan Parambu  was wishing with its twitters these Mlayalam Blog writers as the messenger of great  Ezhuthachan who wrote' Mahabharatham Kilippattu' wth iron nail(എഴുത്താണി)) hundred years ago.
